Held in major cities, the Veteran Success Seminars are free to veterans and families. These are the same quality seminars that Fortune 500 Companies pay lots of money for. For every veteran who has doubted, despaired or otherwise been knocked off course, we aim to get your attention and remind you that there is a way to navigate this new terrain of the civilian world.
Our purpose is to help veterans develop the personal and professional skills and abilities required to achieve their goals. Our objective is to provide veterans with a curriculum that will train, educate and inspire. We fully understand that to educate is to increase one’s intellectual awareness of a subject, whereas to train, is to help someone be proficient at the execution of a given task. We also know that even with the proper education and training, inspiration is a vital link in personal success. Success for Veteran Seminars cover a wide range of topics from Stress Management, Time Management, Interpersonal Communication, Business Communication, Goal Setting, and much more… Acknowledging the limits of one and two day seminars, The New Terrain Foundation will integrate opportunities for the participant to practice and experience the desired learning skills for an improved awareness AND increased proficiency (especially in our longer retreats.) We involve participants in the learning process so they understand what they need to do, how to stay on track, and use the learning resources (mentoring, assessments, professional development plans…) to get there. |
